Hearing Aid Center Services

Sierra Nevada Hearing Aid Center offers you the latest in hearing aid technology. We provide you with hearing tests for hearing loss, as well as hearing evaluations to help improve your quality of life with our assistive listening devices. When you schedule an appointment with Sierra Nevada Hearing Aid Center, you and the Audiologist will together determine the best possible hearing aid for you, factoring in your unique listening needs, preferences, budget, and lifestyle. You will also be counseled about realistic outcomes of wearing hearing aids during your trial period.

Hearing Aids

Designed to improve your hearing, a hearing aid is a battery-powered electronic device that is small enough to wear behind or in your ear. Sierra Nevada Hearing Aid Center offers offer a wide selection of digital hearing aids. We will work with you to find the best solution for your hearing care needs within your budget. Hearing aids work with a microphone that picks up small sounds around you, amplifies the sound and uses a receiver to send these sounds into your ear, helping you hear better.

Hearing Aid Fitting and Follow-Up Care

The hearing aid fitting occurs one to two weeks following your initial hearing aid consultation. At that time, you will be fit with your hearing instruments using computerized speech mapping. This technique ensures you receive the most accurate fitting and prescription for your listening needs. You will also be instructed on the proper use and care of your hearing aids. We will schedule a follow-up appointment after one week to ensure that all your questions have been answered and your hearing aids are correctly adjusted for your needs. Additional complimentary follow-up appointments will be encouraged and scheduled with you as needed to make sure that your hearing health and comfort is maintained at the highest level.

Trial Period and Hearing Aid Warranty

All hearing aids come with a 45-day no-obligation trial period, (excluding a $150 per aid restocking fee), 1 to 3 year repair warranty, and a 1 to 3 year loss and damage policy. During your warranty period, all of your follow-up visits, including all adjustments and cleanings, are at no additional charge.

Hearing Aid Cleaning and Repairs

We are happy to clean your hearing aids and perform minor repairs in our hearing aid center office. We are often able to clean and repair your hearing aids while you wait. All cleaning and repairs are provided at no cost during the warranty period. If you believe you need your hearing aid repaired, please contact us today.

Custom Ear Molds

Custom ear molds are made from impressions of your ear canal and the outside portion of your ear. Sierra Nevada Hearing Aid Center offers custom ear protection for swimmers, musicians, and hunters – anyone who needs additional protection from water or noise. Custom-fit earplugs provide outstanding noise protection for a variety of recreational and occupational environments. Schedule an appointment today to see if custom ear molds are right for you.

Your hearing health also relies on preventative measures, and that is where ear plugs and earmolds are an easy solution to protection from noise damage. Our ears are as differently shaped as the nose on our faces so a custom-fit earmold can make a big difference when blocking out sounds or in hearing more clearly for those who wear hearing aids. Custom-fit earmolds are also excellent for keeping the ear canal dry and healthy for all underwater activities.

Tinnitus is another hearing-related condition we address at Premium Hearing Care . Tinnitus is not a disease, but instead a symptom that something is wrong in the ear, the auditory nerve, and/or the parts of the brain that process sound. Something as simple as a piece of earwax blocking the ear canal can cause tinnitus.
