I went to see Dr. Dean at Sierra Nevada Hearing Aid Center. She gave me a hearing test and was very attentive and asked quite a few questions. I had quite a few of my own. Each was answered in a way that I understood. It’s now easy for me to hear everyone at the breakfast and dinner table, and I don’t struggle so much in public places to hear things. It’s easy to disengage when you can’t hear. The Hearing Aids I have are customized to amplify the tones where I am impaired. So it’s not like I have a crazy amplifier making some sounds too loud and others just right. If you have any hearing issues, I recommend Dr. Dean without qualification. I could not be happier. She’s great!

Although I was nervous at first when talking with the Doctor, I relaxed and was able to get many questions answered. Dr. Dean has always been very helpful. She is always willing to answer my questions and has allowed me to hear. I am now able to become involved in conversations which before I was reluctant to do due to poor hearing. The Gardnerville office is convenient and much closer to my home in California, which is also nice. I just received new hearing aids and can hear much better than with the old ones and with the media streaming device I can hear the TV without a higher volume. Sierra Nevada Hearing Aid Center was very professional, friendly and understanding of my hearing loss. The knowledgeable staff used their expertise and equipment to determine the best product and settings to help improve my hearing problems. I can now hear group conversations that were impossible before. The hearing aid devices can also be adjusted for different environments. The staff were all very friendly and willing to take the time to listen to my concerns and provide solutions. They take the time to listen to your concerns without being rushed so you can get the best Hearing Aid for your needs. I have been able to lower the TV volume from 22 to 12 and understand what is being said better, and no longer need to ask people to repeat what they have just said. I had a great experience at Sierra Nevada Hearing Aid Center. Dr. Dean took the time to diagnose my hearing, explain everything and showed me the different options and features of hearing aids, and NO PRESSURE! I now hear things that I hadn't heard for quite awhile: things like the clock on the wall, computer noises, but most importantly, I hear my wife talking. I like that and she likes that. Dr. Dean and her staff were great! I had previously seen a hearing Doctor and unless you were willing to commit to purchase, he really wasn't interested, and didn't test my hearing. These gals are great! I would recommend them because of the professional service I received and very friendly experience. I felt I already knew the Doctor and her staff.

I've always had a great experience with Sierra Nevada Hearing Aid Center. A co-worker had recommended them to me after he had a good experience. Dr. Dean and her staff have done a great job helping me understand how hearing aids could help me, and helped me to understand what to expect when I started wearing them. I've been wearing them for over three years now and am on my second set. I am a return customer and would expect to return again in the future. I am able to hear better as one would expect, but the real benefit is being able to better engage in conversation with my family or to be able to converse with people in restaurants and stores without having to ask them to repeat what they just said. They have also helped reduce my tinnitus to a point where it is barely noticeable when I am wearing them. To be honest, I wish I didn't need them; they are something to put on in the morning and require a bit of maintenance, but the benefit I receive from wearing them far outweighs the little trouble they are. Once I have my day started, I often forget I am wearing them. Dr. Dean is very friendly and helpful. She explains things thoroughly and is willing to take the time to set my hearing aids as I need them. She even helped me with a setting to better listen to music in the car. I would recommend Heather and the Sierra Nevada Hearing Aid Center to anyone who needed help with their hearing. I believe they would be pleased with the result.

I had custom sleeping earplugs made to block out noise and snoring. They worked AMAZING!! I was able to sleep through the night, lay on them, and experienced NO discomfort! My vacation was much better after getting the custom earplugs from Dr. Dean. She was so helpful and best of all, she listened to my needs. Dr. Dean fully explained both the testing and functions of the hearing aids and her staff was friendly and professional. I can now hear conversations, TV, etc. The phone app is a big plus for me as I can adjust the volume easily, depending on where I'm at. Without this app on the iphone, I don't believe I would have been happy with hearing aids. I would highly recommend Sierra Nevada Hearing Aid Center due to the EXCEPTIONAL experience I had.
